Hello everyone and welcome,
I had moved my blog to a different website that I cannot get on with so time to switch back to what I know I can cope with (just about) I am no computer wizard, quite the opposite so with only one nerve left dangling I am moving back home again to what I know!
‘Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box’ is the best beauty box on the market (imo). I have been getting this box for around 7 months now and haven’t had a bad box yet! This month’s box is all about re balance, so many of us are feeling out of sorts from a never ending winter I think. Craving blue skies and sunshine badly.
So anyhow lets get into it and see what I got!
First item is – a Beauty Shortlist Winner from 2017 – Apothaka Rejuvenatng Face Oil which has also featured in Vogue! Full of organics like – Geranium, Sandalwood and Frankincense (I lovvvee Frankincense).
High in Linoleic acids (essential fatty acids) it is rich in Hemp Seed Oil, Evening Primrose, Sea Buckthorn and Co-Enzyme Q10 a powerful antioxidant that neturalizes free radicals on the skin, one of the biggest causes of aging on skin. I have found it to be lovely and light and it went into my skin well last night.
The Apothaka Rejuvenatng Face Oil is full of plant actives and is handmade in small batches to ensure maximum freshness oh and all subscribers to the Skin Organics newsletter will receive an email from the founder Natasha Dauncey giving you the best advice of how to get the very best out of this product for yours skin. How lovely is that?
Next up is Beauty Cubes now these are a bit of a new one one me and it says they are for normal to dry hair but I am not sure I would be that confident with fine, curly, frizz prone hair but – they are very eco from their biodegradable cleansing agents and their packaging.
So you just crumble the dry cube into the palm of you hand add some water, make a paste and smooth onto hair add more water and you get a good lather.
They do smell rather fabulous and have coconut milk, rose extract, pro vitamin B5, olive oil plus essential oils of Palmarosa, Orange and Grapefruit. That’s a lot of goodness for one wee cube isn’t it? While I am unsure of it on my particular hair type my niece is studying hairdressing and I will give these to her and ask her to report back on them. I just hate the thought of a head full of frizz (sorry)
NK Naturals Delicate Cleansing Balm, this is an incredibly gentle balm perfect for people with very sensitive skin and recommended for the relief of eczema, psoriasis & rosacea. This balm has antibacterial qualities, anti inflammatory and is also rich in vitamin A, is on a base of coconut oil and raw organic beeswax (from Kew Gardens). It has blue chamomile, oat kernel oil, alpine Lavender & Palmarosa.
What I like so far about this balm is it not only packs a super soothing punch but you can use it on cuticles, PLUS eye brows and lashes to promote health and lash growth. When I first tried it I loved how lovely and soft it is, I hate a hard beeswax product I find they can be very hard to get off the skin, has to be soft and melting to the touch for me and this does!
This is a wonder balm it can be used for everything and everything and I have a very strong feeling this little pot is going to leave me wanting a lot more. I love a multi tasking product and this is super multi tasking, organic and pure, I love!
NorthBurN Revive Luxury Bath Salts are an invigorating revitalizing blend of Orange, Palmarosa & Lavender, bath salts never go a miss in this house. Made with a base of pure Pink Himalayan Salts and Cocoa Butter these baths salts smell fabulous and very uplifting, a great pick me up for weary souls. They have a good strong scent and will fragrance my whole flat when I use them.
The Salt Parlour Rose & Shea Butter (calm) Salt & Sulphur Scrub – These are a 2018 Beauty Shortlists Editors Choice Award Winners!!
I am trying to see what sulphur they have used in their scrub I am thinking it is MSM which is extremely good for the skin, I would love to know – anyone?
So The Salt Parlour harnesses the goodness of the sea with cold pressed oils, air dried rose petals & shea butter into a scrub that is great for mature or irritated skin. A great way to get all the vitamins and minerals into the skin from the pink salts . I love that these are affordable and organic. Some Himalayan Salt products are so seriously over priced.
This will be a lovely addition to my bath room for sure. I can see why a product like this would be a winner and great price point too!
So that is this month’s Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box, my favourite by a mile, always full of products mostly new to me and it is a box to rebalance yourself into spring so the shock of some nice weather doesn’t knock you for six too much lol ..
Bye for now
