Vita Liberata Luxury Tan in Medium really is pHenomenal

Well FINALLY there is a little sunshine in Northern Ireland!! Still not warm enough to be sunbathing .. but it does make you feel like you want a little colour!

I have tried so many fake tans and being very fair they all tended to give me a touch of the Oompah Loompah which as far as I am concerned is not a good look. I would rather be milk bottle white with a good hint of blue than orange.

This is where Vita Liberata is different, invented by a local lady  Alyson Hogg she clearly understood the dilemma for thousands and thousands of scarilly white Irish women 🙂.

My first application of this product was very light, I exfoliated like a mad thang and then applied. You shake it well and then it bubbles out onto your tan mitt, I think this stops you over loading your mitt and your skin.

Good thing about this mousse is that it is build able. I was scared of using too much at first because I had in my head if I made a mistake then I was stuck with it but I can see this is an extremely well thought out product and if you want a really deep tan then you apply a few more layers and keep topping up.

What I got was a beautiful golden healthy glow that took my whiteness away and left me feeling and looking a lot healthier all over. Hands down this is the best self tan I have EVER tried!

It didn’t stink of biscuits and though the guide colour looked a bit dark before my shower I really love the colour underneath, it has faded really amazingly too, not a patch in sight!

How they get it to colour your skin and not your bedding too is another great point to make and an important one, there was very little actually came off onto my bedding or clothes. A few minutes after applying I was able to get dressed and into bed.

Oh and it is organic .. YES!!

I am now spoiled for any other tanners, I should have known a long time ago Alyson would have put everything into her products and she really has .. to find a tan that is a beautiful shade for me for summer means the world! I can now look as healthy and tanned as everyone else!

This tan is not called PHenomenal for nothing it can last up to 2-3 weeks, you build it up to the shade you want and it comes in Fair, Medium and Dark so there is something there for us all (mine is medium), it is so easy to apply it is idiot proof (that’s me lol), dries really fast, doesn’t smell so you can get on with your day straight away, it has a moisture locking in mechanism, all tans are much better with lots of moisture in and it fades so naturally it is unreal.

This Vita Liberata Luxury Tan does everything they say it will and it leaves you with the most natural beautiful colour it really does and I think it is worth paying a bit more for a result you will want to go back to time and time again .. I have faith in it now and really trust in it now!

Ancienne Ambience Goddess Pure Rose Floral Waters

No Sign of summer yet here in Northern Ireland tho it might feel slightly warmer today but still extremely wet lol …  I would like to tell you about my love and passion for my Ancienne Ambience Goddess Rose Pure Floral Water!

It is a real staple in my skin care routine that I cannot and will not be without! It is paraben and preservative free, it is a natural hydrolat .. meaning that is really helps to hydrate your skin. Something I need a lot because as I get older my skin has gotten so much drier and in constant need of moisture.

I know this has been said so many times before but the power of rose and good quality rose products on the skin is simply amazing.  It can really help with redness and problem skin like rosacea. Really soothing the red sore skin taking down the redness, soothing and hydrating.

Use it cooled out of the fridge on hot eyes to take down any irritation or puffiness or on sunburnt skin to cool and hydrate hot skin and take down inflammation.

Rosewater or rosehip oil will take down the redness of a spot over night too! Spray some on cleansed skin and see 🙂

Pure Rose Goddess Water is  also a natural mood boosters and are lovely to just spritz around you when you are hot, bothered and tired.

I use my Pure Rose Floral Water as my toner, i keep it fresh and cool in the fridge and use morning and night. I put a good spritz onto my face and because it is pure,  I don’t have to wipe it off! I can just let it sink into my skin as I get dressed or undressed ..

For healthy happy skin it is essential you get your first 2 steps right and that is cleansing and toning so your skin is prepared to accept your serums/oils/moisturizer or else they do not get to work properly or sink in as needed.

I searched a long time to find a floral water at a decent price and this is the one for me, most toners are 200ml and are kept stable by alcohol which can not only be very drying on the skin they can really irritate it too.

Ancienne Ambience pure floral waters are £20 for 300ml and the best value and quality I have found. Even the nozzle on the bottles are great and deliver a lovely even spritz onto my face every time.

If you have not yet tried the power of rose I urge you to give it a go and your skin will love you for it x

I also find I get a really good moisture boost with this serum which I really need in the dark winter days. This serum gives me a healthy glow which pretty much amazes me every time I look in the mirror as I am not as white and pasty as I would usually be. My skin looks so healthy!

I have been using the serum White Oil Firming Serum hand in hand with the scrub which I have really taken to as its gentle but so effective at sloughing off the dead skin cells and revealing beautiful, hydrated, calm skin underneath.

Ancienne Ambiance Amandula Goddess Soap

I could quite happily spend the rest of my days indulging in this range, you just know its such amazing quality as soon as you open your delivery box!

Molton Brown Oudh Accord & Gold .. A touch of Paradise!

Afternoon fellow beauty lovers,

But i took advantage and thought i would try something different, i had the Pink Pepperpod shower gel before but was not  blown away by it at all but this is different, very different … so many words pop into my head with this one i just love it ❤ ❤ <3!

It is a very different scent to what i am used to, its deep, mysterious, woody, very sexy, warming, heady, decadent, very beautiful, unisex, if you have ever walked along a spice market and been mesmerised by the scents and resins there you will love this, you can see the little flecks of 24 Carat gold all through the bottle!

It smells even better on the skin than in the bottle, its perfect for the cold winter nights as its very mellow and warming but its the richness of the Oudh that makes it like no other, Eastern promise and mystery also spring to mind, its a very rich amber nectar of Spicy Nutmeg oil, Elemi Oil which is extremely soothing,  rejuvenating on the skin, for aching muscles and calming on the mind, Gold Leaf extract which is fantastic for your skin and your joints and then the Oudh Accord which is deep, rich and woody, it smells and feels expensive and decedent and i am in ever so in love with it.

The perfect scent for Autumn/Winter although i wouldn’t mind smelling of this gorgeous scent on a hot summers night either! It is a very unisex scent, some might say masculine but to me its unisex and i love how the scent has lingered on my skin, it is a most uplifting, deep, sexy scent that i am  drawn to, going to have this  in my home for a very long time!

So good i am going to now go and purchase the Oudh Accord & Gold Body Lotion as a special treat for myself 🙂 (has to be done when you find something that bit special)

My lovely, New Tarte Palette …

Hello everyone,

I have been eyeballing this tarte palette for a while its the Sultry Sunset one, its full of lovely neutral wearable shades, a mixture of mattes, shimmers and pearls.

Tarte is pretty new to the UK and only available through QVC, it specialises in ‘good for you glamour’ and boy does it deliver! How fab to finally have it here! It delivers very wearable cosmetics that you can feel really good about wearing …

The brand is eco friendly, cruelty free, mineral oil free, gluten free, paraben free, sls free, which means it is good for all. It is also infused with vitamins, minerals, Amazonian clay, superfruit plant extracts, essential oils and other naturally derived ingredients.. It is a brand that has started off with the best of intentions and has continued to do so and this is really setting it apart from most others, i have to say i am extremely impressed by this, there is just too many products full of parabens these days that we regularly put into our skin!

But enough about the good stuff and onto the better stuff lol , just look how gorgeous it is…!! the shades are from right to left top row .. Brazil Nut Brown, Golden skies, Exotic Guava, Gilded Sand and Twilight plum and bottom row Bronze Horizon, Taupe Dusk and wild Orchid.

For me a palette has to be very wearable otherwise i just don’t bother with it, with this palette i get excited everytime i look at it, i will reach for it again and again, it is stunning (to me).

I am looking forward to trying lots more Tarte from QVC, the mascara looks amazing as does the BB cream and the foundation, oh and the brushes! Those brushes that come WITH the products look so tactile, soft and i cannot wait to own some 🙂
